DJI Ronin Gimbal Stabilizer with Atlas Support and Marshall Wireless HDMI Video System transmitter and receiver is the perfect combination for shooter and director. Suitable for most camera types and configurations up to 16 pounds, Ronin uses 3-axis (horizon, tilt and pan) brushless motors to create a super-stable camera platform. In addition to handheld shooting, the gimbal can also be used for vehicle-mounted scenes and other shots where vibration, or abrupt movement that makes tripods and other rigid camera support systems unsuitable.
The Ronin supports dual-operator shooting. In this mode, a second operator uses the included radio controlled transmitter to manually adjust camera pan and tilt independent of which way the Ronin moves.
As with sled and vest style stabilizers, motorized gimbal systems require balancing before use. Once balanced, the unit can be quickly configured for specific cameras using the DJI Assistant Software for iOS and Windows Bluetooth devices. Because every camera and lens combination has a different mass and weight distribution, the Ronin also features Auto Tune Stability (ATS) which automatically adjusts each motor individually, repeating the process until all three axis are aligned.
